About the Project

My name is Shanthony Exum and I am a multimedia artist based in Brooklyn. I started the Every Body Project in 2013 because I wanted to see more inclusive representations of stylish people on blogs. When I started this project I had no idea how to even use a camera so it has been fun to go on this journey growing as a photographer with my project.

I shoot a variety of people but I am really interested in bold colors, patterns and print matching. This project is always evolving, and I ocassionally change what I ask my subjects during the shoot. At the moment, I ask everyone to compliment themesleves. So many of us are very hard on ourselves (myself included) and we all deserve a nice compliment.
