I met Marcia as I was walking from Pebbles Beach to the Zed R. At first when I stopped her, she was alarmed saying “What do you want from me girl, are you trying to scam me or something?” When I convinced her that I was just a sweet person working on an innocent project, she reluctantly agreed to have her photo taken. After that she asked if I wanted to walk with her to Bridgetown. We ended up hanging out all day and I ran errands with her and talked to her about life as she patiently waited for me to take more pictures. I am painfully perfectionist and when she saw me picking apart everything I did wrong as I looked at a photo I took she said “Girl, just try your best but be ok if it is not perfect. When you look back in a year from now and compare your pictures you can see how much you have grown.” I am so glad I got to spend so much time with her! This is how she answered my questions.
How did you feel this morning: I usually feel tired but I was walking. She later told me this was too personal of a question and I should change it to “How is your day going”
What do you like about yourself: I’m Kind
How would you change the world: I would stop people fighting one another and stop shooting
