This is my good friend Leslie (@lesburnett) I met her for the first time IRL when I arrived at her house in Barbados (we have a mutual awesome friend @katebean who introduced us) Leslie and I are true kindred spirits so obviously we totally hit it off! We had the best time during my last day in Barbados riding around the island eating Rasta food and taking photos of whatever we pleased. I caught up with her after I returned to Brooklyn to answer my questions:What do you like about yourself: I'm an effective communicator who manages change very well. I also have a pretty rad wardrobe.How is my day going: it's Pizza Day so I'm really stoked on that. Lately, I'm experiencing some regular symptoms due to trouble with my heart, so I'm consistently managing front-burner stress + trying to shift it down to back-burner. That reminds me I should prioritize meditating more.How would you change the world: Dissolve the student debt crisis, especially in the USA. The amount of pressure + financial hardship associated with educating yourself in order to feel you can be successful is intimidating + crippling for far too long after an education is complete. People's entire lives are impacted for decades, which can leave them feeling depressed + trapped, limiting their ability to change direction.
